This vibrant and meaningful artwork, spearheaded by the Townscape Advisory Committee, stands as a tribute to the resilience, culture, and community spirit of Narrogin, particularly in the aftermath of the 2022 bushfires.

The Shire of Narrogin and its neighbours are the site of potential renewable energy developments (Wind, Solar, and Battery Storage) because of the proximity to power infrastructure and distribution networks in Collie as the State seeks to meet its renewable energy targets with cessation of coal by 2030. Several wind farm projects have been announced in the Shire, with dedicated or additional solar, and Battery Storage (BESS) components, with more potentially into the future.

The Shire of Narrogin has announced the launch of a new, state-of-the-art website for the Narrogin & Dryandra Visitor Centre. This new online platform aims to enhance the promotion of Narrogin and its surrounding areas as a tourism destination. The new website draws significantly upon one developed by dedicated volunteer Doug Sawkins, provided substantial information about the area. Doug's hard work and commitment were invaluable. The Shire President Mr Leigh Ballard noted "We can't thank Doug enough. Our heartfelt thanks go to him for his significant contributions, which laid the foundation for this new development."
