Lost and Found

In the event that a dog is seized and impounded, the owner has 72 hours to reclaim their dog.

Impoundment fees will vary depending on whether the dog is registered or unregistered. Please note that all applicable fees, including a daily impoundment charge, must be paid in full before the dog can be released.

If your dog is impounded, it must be registered and microchipped prior to release. You may provide a receipt or certificate from your vet confirming that the dog will be microchipped on the specified date.

If your dog is missing please contact the Shire or the Ranger as soon as possible to check if it has been impounded.
