HARVEST AND VEHICLE MOVEMENT BAN – EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY

The Shire of Narrogin has declared a Harvest and Vehicle Movement Ban, which is effective immediately across the entire Shire of Narrogin due to current weather conditions. This ban is in place until 5:00pm 1/11/2024.

Activities Prohibited During This Ban:
  • All harvesting operations are strictly prohibited.
  • Off-road activities are not permitted. This includes the use of motorbikes, quad bikes, chainsaws, ride-on mowers, generators, and any other equipment operating with internal combustion engines off cleared roadways.
Activities Permitted During This Ban:
  • The use of vehicles on cleared, gazetted roads, driveways, or access areas is allowed.
  • Urgent work by essential services (such as water, power, and telecommunications) is permitted under strict conditions as outlined in the Bush Fires Regulations.

The status of this ban, including any changes, will be regularly updated on the Shire of Narrogin’s Facebook page and website. Residents may register for SMS notifications regarding future bans by contacting the Shire Office at 9890 0900 and providing their name and mobile number.
