Local History Collection
The Narrogin Library proudly houses an extensive local history collection, meticulously gathered and curated by the late Town Historian Maurie White. This rich archive features photographs, newspaper clippings, bound editions of the Narrogin Observer, newsletters, maps, oral history records, and more. We are in the process of digitising this collection and making it accessible through the Narrogin Library Online Catalogue. To explore the available resources, simply visit the catalogue and search for 'Narrogin Local History.'
For those interested in making an enquiry or conducting family research, our library staff is here to assist you. Please note that fees for local history enquiries are as follows: $37.50 per half hour for Town and Shire Residents and $64.00 per half hour for non-Town and Shire Residents.
